Police are investigating a robbery and wounding incident at the Corinth Secondary School in Gros Islet.

According to reports bandits stole a number of items from the principal’s office and the staff room, including computers.

A male security guard at the school was injured during the robbery, according to information received. Unofficial reports are that a gunshot “grazed” the security guard’s neck.

Police investigations are ongoing into the matter.
