A body has been removed from the waters of the Castries Harbour by the Police Marine Unit this morning.
The details are still sketchy but reports indicate that a crowd of people began to converge in the area – across from the Castries market – after news circulated that a body was floating in the water around 9:30 a.m
The Marine Police Unit told St. Lucia News Online that they responded to the scene at about 9:40 a.m. and removed the body.
Police investigations are continuing.
