One of the host communities of the Journen Kweyol celebrations is making an early start with the launch of its program of activities on Sunday.
This is the fourth time that the Boguis community will host the popular event.
It will begin with a creole mass from 10 am followed by the staging of several cultural activities at the Boguis Primary School Grounds from 2:00 p.m.
Emanus Alfred is the Chairman of the Boguis Journen Kweyol organizing committee.
Mr Alfred says the community is delighted to host such an activity that encourages family and youth participation.
The Boguis Jounen Kweyol Committee will be host to a number of cultural events throughout the month of October leading up to Jounen Kweyol.
We invite St. Lucia to be part of this celebration.
