The reinstatement of the Insurance Coordinator at the CSA is being seen as a landmark victory on behalf of workers here.
Ms Philomen Darius who was dismissed last year on the grounds that she had reached the retirement age, as well as what the management of the CSA deemed was part of a restructuring process, is now back at work.
The reinstatement came following a strong challenge against the actions of the CSA, which resulted in a ruling from the Labour Commissioner, that the worker was wrongfully dismissed.
Ms Darius says challenging the CSA’s decision was not an easy process.
Ms Darius who expressed that she is pleased with the decision and her return to a job that she is good at.
She adds that it is a victory not only for her but for all workers.
