The results of a post mortem conducted on the body of a Canadian national who died while vacationing here have been released.
Christopher Diachuk, was reportedly on an unauthorized hiking trip on Gros Piton trail in Soufriere just prior to his death.
The autopsy which was conducted on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 revealed that he died as a result of a heart attack due to coronary artery disease also known as heart disease (a buildup of plaque in the arteries, which blocks blood flow).
No foul play suspected in this matter.
