The momentum of the St Lucia Stars was crushed last night after the team registered its 6th consecutive loss at home.

For many fans of the Daren Sammy led team, it appeared that the players had scored a comfortable total with 173 runs, their all time best in the tournament.

But it was just not enough to keep the Tallawah’s at bay.

Sports administrator Joseph Reds Periera has more.

Despite their position at the bottom of the table the Stars are not out of the competition just yet. They are expected to take on the Patriots in St Kitts this Saturday.
