Researchers Predict Increased Activity in 2018 Hurricane Season

Stakeholders and agencies involved in the management of national disasters have been engaged in determining a pre-emptive course of action in light of the impending 2018 hurricane season.

 

Preliminary assessments by international researchers have predicted increased activity in 2018 season with the hurricane season expected to be more devastating than the previous year.

 

Executive Director of the National emergency Management Organization Velda Joseph spoke to the efforts to expected course of action to be taken.

 

Hurricane season is set to start again within the next two months, and researchers have warned this season could be even more powerful.

 

The hurricane season is from June to November when the seas are at their warmest and most humid creating ripe conditions for a hurricane to develop.
