Results for the Cricket Finals

Four time Defending SLNCA Premier League Cricket Champions South Castries for only the second time in the last eight years, failed to capture the Premier League title. On the weekend they lost by 9 wickets to neighbours Central Castries in the two day final at the Beausejour Cricket Ground.

Central’s victory was due largely to the efforts of captain Jamal James who stroked a tournament high 147 runs in his team’s total of 273, and fast bowler Loic Prosper’s first inning’s spell of 8/51 in bowler friendly conditions.
