Details of the plans for big reveal of the FIFA Coca Cola World Cup Trophy will be revealed later this evening at a press launch hosted by the Organising Committee and sponsor Dubulay’s Bottling Company, local bottlers of Coca Cola.
The Fifa World Cup Trophy tour which started in Rio De Janeiro Brazil will touch down in Saint Lucia on October 21st.
To commemorate the event a special football match has been organized between the 2013 Blackheart Knockout Champions Gros-Islet and a Coca Cola select team, made up of players from the other teams which participated in the Blackheart tournament.
That match is carded for the Beausejour Cricket Ground from 6:00pm where the Coca cola World Cup Trophy will be displayed.
The preparation and training schedule and possible warm up matches for the Coca Cola All Stars squad will be finalized at tonight’s activity with the squad expected to go into training this coming weekend.
A provisional squad of players has already been named for the Coca Cola All Stars which is to be cut to 20 for the October 21st match with the winner getting a chance to have a full photo opportunity with the World Cup Trophy.
