The Ministry of Youth Development and Sports Massy United Insurance Under 19 Schools Cricket Tournament continued on Tuesday with victories for SDA Academy over Entrepot Secondary, Corinth Secondary over Leon Hess Comprehensive and Clendon Mason Memorial over Grande Riviere Secondary.

At the Monchy Playing Field, SDA Academy completed a comfortable 6 wicket victory over Entrepot Secondary. Entrepot Secondary batting first, was dismissed for 87 in 11 overs, with Kyle Adonis 16. Bowling for SDA Academy, Chaz Cepal 4 for 10 in 3 overs, Dudley Charles 3 for 10 in 4 overs and Rumario Simmons 3 for 16 in 4 overs. Set 88 for victory, SDA led by Rumario Simmons with 42 not out easily got to their target finishing on 89 for 1 in 12 overs. For Entrepot Secondary, the wicket takers were Olarry Alfred, Elan La Force, Craig Elisee and Kyle Adonis with one wicket each.

At the Gros Islet Playing Field, Corinth Secondary won over Leon Hess Comprehensive easily by 9 wickets.  Leon Hess taking first strike was dismissed for 103 in 18.1 overs with Brandt Jean 15, Jose Cox 13 and Michael Williams 10. For Corinth Secondary the wicket takers were, Lerry Auguste 3 for 15 in 6 overs, Ryan Hippolyte 3 for 22 in 3 overs, Lee Solomon 2 for 22 in 2 overs and Rapheal Largan 2 for 22 in 6 overs. Chasing 104 for victory, Corinth Secondary cruised to victory finishing on 106 for 1 in 15 overs, with Lerry Auguste contributing 25 not out, Kerdel Nelson 24 not out and Lee Solomon 12.

At the Dennery Playing Field, Clendon Mason Memorial totally out played Grande Riviere Secondary, winning easily by 186 runs.
Clendon Mason taking first knock, was dismissed for 281 in 32.1 overs with half centuries coming from Nixon Edmund 54 and Steffan Laurent 51 not out. Good support also came from Daniel Augustin with 41 and Neil Demaze 26. For Grande Riviere Secondary, the leading bowlers were, Quain Duplessis with 3 for 44 in 8 overs, Mc Kenny Flavius 3 for 62 in 7 overs and Zachary Sandiford 2 for 28 in 4.1 overs.
In reply, Grande Riviere Secondary was bowled out for 95 in 16.4 overs, with Glenn John making 39. Doing the damage for Clendon Mason were, Daniel Augustin with remarkable figures of 6 for 14 in 2.4 overs and Nixon Edmund 2 for 45 in 5 overs.

The tournament continues on Wednesday with Marigot Secondary and Bocage Secondary clashing at the Monchy Playing Field, St. Mary's College battles with Vide Bouteille Secondary at the Gros Islet Playing Field and in a rescheduled match Choiseul Secondary plays Vieux Fort Comprehensive La Ressource at the Piaye Playing Field.
