The Rounds are looking more exciting now for the Barbados ITF Tennis Tournament with three St Lucians advancing to the Semi Finals stage of the singles tournament.  Megan William continues on her winning streak when she held down Grenadian Kay Lee Hazzard 6:3; 6:1 to advance to the semi-finals when she will face Jenna Harrison of Jamaica to hopefully  advance to the finals. Hopefully her killer backhand will provide a sweet support to take her thru to the finals.
Adriel Bousquet and Nathan Francis also advanced to the semifinals of the boys singles draw.  Bousquet dominated from the onset and had Grenadian Akinde Redhead 6;1; 6:0 to move on where he will face Barbadian Christopher Phillips.  Nathan Francis on the other hand had a not so smooth ride however he prevailed on court 3 and won over Canadian Lucas Gosselin 6:3; 7:4 in the tie breaker. He will now face Kaipo Marshall of Barbados and hopefully make an all St Lucian Finals match at the open when both himself and Adriel Bousquet takes the semifinals courts.

Meggan  William also advanced to the Girls Doubles Semifinals when she paired up with Jenna Harrison of Jamaica to oust the Grenadians - Ifina Patrick and  Sammisha Elcock 6:1,6:2.  The dangerous pair will face Barbados' favorite Hannah Chambers and Tangia Riley-Codring to  secure   their hot spot in the finals. The girls are confident that they will emerge winners in the doubles segment of the tournament.

The Šț Lucia Tennis Association together with their many sponsors wish the players the very best of luck  in making it thur to the finals.

Coach Vernon Lewis of the Vernon Lewis Tennis Academy also joins in in congratulating the youngsters all of whom he coaches, in moving on in the tournament and is confident that they will bring home the trophies.
