Jessie Corneil Corneil Lionel broke Ronald Promese's 16-year-old national record in the men's 200mn dash over the weekend, competing Sa @ at the John Jacobs Invitational
Lionel, who is a student at Abilene Christian University, ran 20.63sec with a Wind Reading of +1.6m/s.
With that performance, Corneil - an alumnuis of the Enterpot Secondary School - joined Sandisha Antoine, Jeannelle Scheper, Levern Spencer and Albert Reynols in attaining the qualifying standard for the Pan American Games.

But at the George C Griffin Track on Saturday, Kassie cleared the 10 flights in 1:01.56, establishing a new national record for the Brooklyn Tech alum.
