Soufriere and Canaries both book their places into the second round of the Michel’s Electrical Super League competition last night with victories over Babonneau and South Castries.

Troy Simon and Nixon David scored in the 27th and 58th minute respectively to send Babonneau out of the competition and Soufriere through to the second round.

Titus Shepard netted 88 minutes into the game to secure a one nil victory for Canaries over South Castries. Canaries moves to the second round of the competition.

Matches in the Super League will continue today from 6 pm at the Beausejour cricket grounds.  Micoud will play Marchand and Vieux Fort North with play Central Castries.

This will be the final two matches in the first round with the draw for the second round schedule to take place on Thursday.
