When it comes to tennis and winning, one thing stands out - The names making it to the finish line. Lewis - William - Francis - Bousquet - Hunte - St. John - Rohemen - D' Auvergne.

At the just concluded ITF Coca Cola/ Lime Junior Tennis tournament, St.Lucia was represented in large numbers in both age categories 18's and 14's. When the curtains came down on Saturday, only three names stood out, Nathan Francis, boys 14s singles champion, edging past Nicholas St. John in straight sets:- 6-4 6-1.

The ever dominaring, Meggan William aka Venus William look alike came prouncing over Trinidad's number one, Osenyonye Nwovokolo in a nail biting girls finals to win her second 14's singles championship in the region for 2015 - 6-1, 7-6(4) and to be crowned St Licia's first female tennis player to ever win a Coca Cola Tennis Tournament in its 32 years of existence in St Lucia. Well done Meggan!!!!!!

In the girls doubles Meggan teamed up with Barbados' Hannah Chambers to capture the girls 14's doubles Championhip by default due to rain delays on Saturday.

St.Lucia continued to exhibit true form when Nathan Francis teamed up with Grenada's Christian Warner in the boys 14's doubles fight against St.Lucia's most promising young stars Maxx William and Jordan Hunte. In a three setter match the promising young stars defeated Nathan Francis and Christian Warner - 1-6 7-5 10-4 to win the boys 14's doubles championship.

Maxx William and Jordan Hunte together with Rianne Joseph and Sarah Joseph will join their other Caribbean counterparts in curaçao at the end of August to participate in the 2015 GSDF Developmental Junior Caribbean Tennis camp.

The St Licia Tennis Association together with the Management and staff of the National Tennis Centre joins in to sincerely thank the sponsors DuBoulay's Bottling Company Limited and Lime St Lucia for their unwavering support throughout the years and many more to come.
