LUCELEC Under 19 Netball

In the first match of the double header played at the Vieux Fort Multipurpose Court, before an impressive crowd of supporters St. Josephs Convent Captured 3rd place over Babonneau Secondary 21 – 17.

For SJC
GS: Adele Hennecart scored 7 from 15 attempts
GA: Rochelle Etienne scored 14 from 27 attempts

For Babonneau Secondary

GS: Sammy Johannes scored 5 from 10 attempts
GA: Lucky Preville scored 12 from 29 attempts

In the finals; in a carnival like atmosphere Vieux Fort Comprehensive backed by a vociferous crowd of supporters overcame a very spirited Soufriere team who themselves were well supported by a solid contingent of supporters led by the school drummers to be crowned 2013 LUCELEC Under 19 Netball Champions. Vieux Fort Comprehensive led through all quarters to winning 30 – 17 at the end of regulation time.

For Soufriere Comprehensive

GS: Jo -anne Wilfred scored 7 from 11 attempts
GA: Shanieka Andrew scored 10 from 17 attempts

LUCELEC Under 19 Football 

Clendon Mason Memorial booked their place in the Finals of the LUCELEC Under 19 Football Tournament defeating St. Mary’s College 4 – 1.

For Clendon Mason: Ridel Stanislaus  converted in the 2nd and 4th minute, Mitchum Francis in the 13th minute  and Noah Didier in the 46th minute

For SMC:  Jeeus Husbands scored in the 18th minute.

The Stage is now set for the Finals of the Under 19 tournament with Clendon Mason and Anse ger Secondary already securing their ticket for the encounter. The finals will be played on Wednesday December 12, 2013 at the Micoud Playing Field.

The Finals and 3rd place of the LUCELEC Under 15 Tournament will be played today Friday December 06, 2013 at the Dames Playing field. Anse Ger Secondary will do battle against Vieux Fort Comprehensive while in the St. Mary’s college will meet Soufriere comprehensive.
