Vieux Fort Comprehensive Secondary continues its winning ways in the United Insurance Under 19 School Cricket Tournament having completed a comfortable 56 run victory over Soufriere Comprehensive on Monday at the Piaye Playing Field.

Vieux Fort Comprehensive batting first were dismissed for 172 in 25 overs with Zachary Edmund top scoring with 70, Dornan Edward making 24 and Valange St Ange 16.   Bowling for Soufriere Comprehensive, Trevor Edward 3 for 19 in 2 overs and Natiuis Baptiste 2 for 17 in 7 overs.

In reply Soufriere Comprehensive were bowled out for 116 in 25 overs with Julian Sylvester contributing 41, and Zack Anthony 13. Doing the damage for Vieux Fort Comprehensive was leg spinner Dornan Edward who finish with remarkable figures of 7 for 33 in 7 overs including a hat trick. Javid Joseph also lent good support picking up 2 for 7 in 4 overs.

The tournament continues on Tuesday with George Charles Secondary coming up against Entrepot Secondary at the Gros Islet Playing Field.
