Victories for SDA Academy, Choiseul Secondary, Micoud Secondary and Clendon Mason Memorial as the United Insurance U 19 School Cricket Tournament continues at venues around the island.

At the Gros Islet Playing Field, SDA Academy recorded a comprehensive 9 wicket victory over Entrepot Secondary.  Entrepot Secondary batting first were skidded out for 69 in the 17th over with Kevin Alphonse 13 the only batsman to reach double figures. For SDA Academy the wicket takers were, Joshua Mann who took 3 for 14 in 3.2 overs, Shem Thomas 3 for 17 in 5 overs, Chez Cepal 2 for 12 in 3 overs and Serge Clarke 2 for 28 in 5 overs.  Set a modest victory target of 70, SDA Academy led by Serge Clarke with 27 not out got to the target making 70 for the loss of 1 wicket in 8.3 overs. Elan La Force was Entrepot's wicket taker with 1 for 12 in 3 overs.

At the Piaye Playing Field, it was Choiseul Secondary completing a massive 187 run victory over Soufriere Comprehensive. Choiseul taking first knock was dismissed for 247 in 37.5 overs with half centuries from Mervie Thomas 61 and Curt Stephen 50. Kimbert Edward 24 and Trace Fanus 18 also made valuable contributions. Bowling for Soufriere Comprehensive, Antonio Joseph with a 5 wicket haul taking 5 for 60 in 10 overs and Zach Anthony 2 for 27 in 6 overs.
In reply Soufriere was bowled out for 70 in 24.3 overs with Darran Joseph 17 and Julian Sylvester 12.  Doing the damage with the ball for Choiseul Secondary were,  Stephan Henry who took 4 for 11 in 7 overs and Mervie Thomas 3 for 15 in 7 overs.

At the Wenne Playing Field in Mon Repos Clendon Mason Memorial registered a hard earned 18 run victory over Anse Ger Secondary. Clendon Mason batting first was dismissed for 213 in 35 overs with useful scores coming from Daniel Augustin with 45, Shahid Mathurin 34, Safan Laurant 22 and Sadrack Descarte 15.  Bowling for Anse Ger Secondary, Mozam Morfat 4 for 6 in 2 overs, Darrel St Marie 3 for 40 in 7 overs and Lee Mathurin 2 for 32 in 6 overs.  In pursuit of 213 for victory, Anse Ger Secondary fell short by just 19 runs reaching 195 in 33.1 overs. Ronaldo Joseph led the scoring with 30, Darrel St Marie 22, Joel Harding 20 and Corie Serieux 19.  National female player Paulina Francis was Clendon Mason's leading wicket taker taking 4 for 41 in 10 overs with her left arm spin and was supported by Sadrack Descarte who took 3 for 52 in 3 overs.

In the 4th game of the day, Micoud Secondary totally outplayed Grand Riviere Secondary to register an easy 9 wicket victory.  Grand Riviere Secondary batting first were bundled out for 38 in 11 overs with Quinton Campous 11 the only batsman to reach double figures. The wicket takers for Micoud Secondary were, Kimami Serieux who had a 5 wicket haul, he took 6 for 19 in 5 overs and Dixon Serieux finished with 4 for 19 in 5 overs.  In reply, Micoud Secondary easily reached their target reaching 40 for 1 in just 4 overs with Kyan Martial finishing on 10 not out.

There is one game carded for Friday between Piaye Secondary and Vieux Fort Comprehensive at the Piaye Playing Field.
