The Millet Karate School held its first Graduating Ceremony for the year on Sunday May 27, 2014, at the Millet Multi- purpose Centre with twelve students successfully passing the exams.
The following results are as follows:
Verneser Paul Blue belt - Brown belt, Tuan Philogence Blue belt – Brown belt, Yanni George Green belt – Purple belt, Jade Justin Orange belt – Blue belt, Leana George Orange belt – Green belt, Nigel Edwin Yellow belt – Orange belt, Daniel Donovan Yellow belt – Orange belt, Tryphon Marks White belt – Orange belt, Dantez Prescott White belt – Orange belt, Ethan Joseph White belt – Orange belt, Girvin Joseph White belt – Yellow belt and Tatanye Brown White belt – Yellow belt.
The Chief examiner was Grand Master Errol Weeks; he was pleased with the overall performance of the graduants. He advised students to be disciplined people, because indiscipline creates a chain reaction which can affect the home, school and the entire society. He also cautions them in keeping and being safe and most importantly he said they are to be part of the solution not the problem.
School instructor Sensei Joseph Henry, was pleased with his students and commented, “I am very pleased with the students’ performance and determination in achieving their goals. The standard of skills and discipline displayed by the students at the grading exercise was very high.”
