Central Castries marched into the finals of the National Lotteries Masters T20 competition with a comprehensive 78 run victory over Millet in the first semi final held at the Awen Playing field in Mon Repos on Sunday.

Central Castries won the toss and elected to bat posting 233 all out in 19.1 overs. Sheldon Thorpe led the batting with 56, Greg Wilson made 48, Thomas Elcock 44 and Edley George 21. Bowling for Millet B.Donavon took 3 for 44, M.Giddings 2 for 31, and D. Justin 2 for 43.

When Millet batted they lost wickets at regular intervals and were reeling at 92 for 7, but thanks to an 8th wicket partnership of 61 between B.Donavon and H. Louis saw them all out for 155 in 19.1 overs. B.Donavon top scored with 59 not out, V. Smith 26 and H. Louis 17. Bowling for Central Castries  Victor Laurencin took 2 for 17, Julian Charles took 2 for 22, Joseph St.Marthe 25 and there was a wicket a piece to Vernon Francois and Edley George.
