Caricom Masters Veterans Sports Club of Castries and Soufriere will meet in the finals of the 2014/2015 Caribbean Alliance Insurances Veterans Football Tournament organized by Veterans in Sports Inc. They earned their places in the finals after victories Saturday evening in the semi finals played at the Soufriere Mini Stadium.

In the first semi final a brace by CEO of the tournament organizers Veterans in Sports Inc, Alvin Malaykhan gave Caricom Masters a 2-1 win over Behind The College All Stars to book their place in the finals of the competition.

Malaykhan’s goals came in the 37th and 90th minutes. Marlon Desir had pulled one back from the penalty spot for Behind the College in the 79th minute.

In the second semi final Soufriere with an 89th minute strike by former national striker Jerome “barboy” Serville who got his nickname “BARBOY” after emulating former VSADC and National Captain Irvine “barboy” Hippolyte gave Soufriere a one goal to nil win over the defending champions VSADC and knocked them out of the tournament.

Caricom Masters and Soufriere will meet in the finals of the competition on Saturday 31st January 2015 at the Soufriere Mini Stadium. The winner of the finals  will receive the Caribbean Alliance Cup, $5000 dollars and a trip to Barbados for the Wanders Masters football tournament.
