The competition took the format of boys and girls open singles with round robin matches being played in the group stage followed by single elimination matches.  All competitors represented the schools to the best of their ability at the Bonsejour Indoor Facility to earn the right to qualify to the quarter finals which was scheduled for the Castries City Hall on Friday 30th January at 9:30am.

The preliminary rounds saw 28 groups of boys and 14 groups of girls doing battle with only the group winners  advancing to the second round for the boys and the top 2 finishers advanced for the girls.

The following numbers qualified from the various schools to the second round.

The Boys Division:St. Aloycious RC Boys:4, Tapion:4, Grande Rivierre:5, Canon Laurie:6,Camille Henry:6, Vide Boutielle:2, Dame Pearlette:1.

The Girls Division:Ave Maria:10,Camille Henry:2, Tapion:3, Grande Rivierre:3,Anse La Raye:2,Vide Boutielle:2, Dame Pearlette:1, Canon Laurie:5.

The Girls Semi finals  Ave Maria’s ZoyaJn Marie in straight sets over Tarnisha Gustave from the Vide Boutielle Primary. Zarianne Anthony also from Ave Maria Girls Primary won a tightly contested match against Lenore Adjoudha from the Camille Henry Memorial to secure her spot in the finals. The third place match witnessed Lenore Adjoudha dominating Tarnisha in straight sets to secure her podium spot.

The boys semi finals saw all three boys from Tapion doing battle. Jared Desir won the first match over school mate 2 sets to 1 despite of a spirited comeback attempt by Jason Hunte. The other Tapion studentJordan Hunte won again  in straight sets over Camille Henry’s Mc Kenny Clarke. The boys third place match was won by McKenny Clarke of Camille Henry Memorial over Jason Hunte from Tapion in straight sets.

The all Tapion school finals for the boys saw focused Jordan Hunte winning in straight sets over Jared Desir 11-4,11-5 and 11-4 to become the 2015 Primary Schools Boys Champion.

The all Ave Maria school final for the girls went down to the wire. Zarianne Anthony beat ZoyaJn.Marie in a match that went the distance to be crowned  2015 Primary Schools Female Champion.
