Police investigations are continuing into the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a body in Anse La Raye.

Official reports indicate that On Monday, February 23, 2015 about 8:23 p.m. Mandy Joseph filed a missing persons report at the Anse La Raye Police Station.

Joseph stated that her 16 year old son, Miguel Sealy of Massacre, Anse La Raye, left his residence earlier that day about 3:00 p.m. to spend time with a family member on the Massacre Beach, and up to the time of report had not been seen.

On Tuesday, February 24, 2015 about 12:45 p.m. the lifeless body of Miguel Sealy was discovered in the waters of Anse La Raye by the Police Marine Unit.

Meanwhile, one individual is presently in police custody assisting with investigations into a suspected drowning at Bois Shadon Beach in Vieux Fort on Sunday.

Police say that upon arrival on the scene, they received information that 4 year old, Terrel Joshua Elibox of Augier, Vieux Fort was given a ride by a kite surfer. While riding, Elibox fell into the sea and submerged.

A search and rescue mission was immediately conducted by Police but the body was not recovered.

On Tuesday, February 24, 2015 about 6:00a.m. the lifeless body of Elibox was found on the Coconut BayBeach, Vieux Fort.

This comes following news that the bodies of two individuals who are suspected to have drowned at the La Toc Beach over the weekend have not yet been found
