The water resource Management Agency says despite a slight improvement St Lucia continues to face dry conditions.

According to WRMA officer Fitzgerrald John, the situation is not expected to improve for months.

He adds that the rainfall deficit continues to affect the island’s raw water supply as river flows and water catchment capacity remains low.

In making reference to a report from the Caribbean Climatic Forum, Mr John says the predictions made are not favourable.

Drought conditions have been affecting St Lucia since March of last year
