A local Human Rights attorney says the shooting death of a well known Castries Woman has left her wondering who’s next.

Cheryl Clarke was shot multiple times around 12:10 am on Friday and died at hospital around 3am.

Her death comes just three month after her husband Asher Emmanuel was gunned down in much the same way on Chaussee road and four years after the demise of her brother who was also shot and killed.

Ms Mary Francis has described news of the violent death as disturbing.

Ms Francis has also reacted to suggestions that the trio may have been targeted.

She says while there is no evidence to support that claim, it is a bit coincidental.

Friday’s shooting comes after months of a lull in gun violence in the city
