The owner of a scrap metal company located near the Bexon Highway says he is not taking any responsibility for the number of vehicular accidents occurring on that section of the road.

The man who called in to RCI’s newsspin program on Wednesday says he has noted the accusatory finger pointed at him and his business, as well as claims that the business causes an obstruction for drivers traversing the road.

The business owner says that not true, adding that the speed at which drivers travel along the road is excessive.

The business owner claims that on the contrary, his business is responsible for saving the life of a driver fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into a container which was parked near the road.

Several concerns have been expressed about that hazard posed to drivers by the scrap metal company, which many argue is too close to the main road.
