Another call has been made for the enactment of the Consumer Protection Bill.

This comes following a complaint lodged against a telecommunications company operating here.

The lobbying against the barring of whats app calls by the telecoms provider which has been making the rounds on Social media, has caught the attention of the President of the National Consumers Association  Kingsley St Hill.

Mr St Hill is confident that the legislation will guide merchants and service providers on their responsibilities to consumers. It will also outline the sanctions to be taken against them if they are in violation.

The consumer rights bill continues to remain in draft form
