The Government buildings along the Castries Waterfront were evacuated this morning, following reports of a bomb threat.

According to reports, the evacuation took place at about 10:30 AM, with employees of the various government departments gathering at various locations including Serenity Park and the National Cultural Centre, while Police and Fire Service personnel made a sweep of the buildings.

Road blocks are also reported to have been set up on the road outside the buildings, while traffic heading to and from the North of the Island was being diverted to other routes.
