The PRO of the island`s Secondary Schools Principals Association has described as surprising but not new ,the ongoing situation at the CCSS.

Teachers at the school staged a sit-in last Wednesday to protest the failure of the authorities to correct structural problems at the learning institution.

Mr Terrence Fernelon says the situation should not have been allowed to deteriorate.

Mr Fernelon says the problem will be addressed with Ministry of Education officials before the end of the first term.
One of the individuals who is expected to participate in the discussions is the CEO of the Ministry of Education - Mr Marcus Edward.

Classes were cancelled on Thursday and Friday to begin remedial works at the CCSS.
