An Indian family is bringing the culture and experience of their community to St.Lucia's shores.

The Narharis have launched a strictly authentic Indian restaurant called Zaika in The Rodney Bay Marina.

Accounts director Sachin Narhari says customers can experience food, music and decor which have all been imported directly from India.

While at the restaurants customers can also experience Indian culture by taking pictures while wearing traditional Indian clothing.

The Accounts director was inspired to create the restaurant because of the lack of real Indian food in St.Lucia.

Mr.Narhari together with his wife and partner Shobha Mathler believed there was a lack options for real Indian food here.

The restaurant is opened from 7am until 10pm. According to the Narhari family if the staff is present after 10pm the customers will be served.
