The results of an autopsy conducted on the body of an English national who is suspected to have died of drowning have been released.

The post mortem was conducted On Friday, January 29, 2016 on the body of 28 year old, Jason Jones, who died while here on vacation in Canelles, Micoud.

The post mortem revealed that he died as a result of drowning.

Police say no foul play has been suspected in this matter.

On Wednesday, February 24, 2016 about 9: 30 a.m. Jones’ lifeless body was discovered on Anse Ger Beach in Micoud.

Meanwhile the results of a post mortem conducted on the body of a Bogis man who is being reported as the island’s latest suicide have also been released.

It took place on Wednesday February 24th.

The examination revealed that 37 year old, Simbert John Loctor also known as “smokey” died as a result of Carbonate Poisoning, which caused respiratory failure and muscle paralysis.

No foul play suspected in this matter.

On Sunday, February 21, 2016 about 8:00 a.m. Loctor was discovered lifeless by a relative at his residence in Boguis.
