The newly installed President of the beleaguered Civil Service Association says the main objective is to repair the fractures in the once united public sector union.

Yvonne Edwin won the CSA vote convincingly, defeating Cletus Cyril for the position of President.

But she says the work has just begun as she has a mammoth task ahead.

Edwin says she plans to reach the members of the union through its various committees in an effort to revive and ignite their energy.

Asked about her high level of enthusiasm despite the task ahead, Edwin says she is eager to work and restore the union to the force it once was.
