The local Rastafarian community is up in arms over an ongoing dispute to find a burial place for one of their own.

Mr Peter Ras Ipa Isaac says since the death of Shakadan Daniel, the family has been faced with several challenges in finding a place to bury the young man.

Mr Isaac insists that to his recollection, it is the first time that anyone has had such difficulty and is confused as to why certain denominations have refused to preside over the funeral of the dead man.

He has called on the Rastafarian community to do more to assist members particularly with the burial of their dead..

Several individuals have come forward to assist Daniel’s family since his death in late October.
