The Inland Revenue Department today launched its Electronic Payment Service which enables taxpayers to make tax payments in the comfort of their homes or offices.

Comptroller of Inland Revenue, Sophia Henry is elated with this development which enhances customer experience and led by example in making the first payment.

The IRD stressed that this method is safer, convenient and hassle free, as clients no longer need to bring cash or cheques or take long lines in order to make certain payments.

E-Payments can now be made for Value Added Tax (VAT), PAYE, Corporation Tax and Personal Income Tax with both Credit and Debit Cards.
