Police are on the hunt for a man accused of robbing a financial institution in the north of the island last week.

The individual who remains at large is one of two suspects allegedly involved in the heist.

Official reports indicate that the two men who entered the credit union on Friday last week were unmasked, however one of them was armed. They apparently made off with an undisclosed sum of money.

Police have informed that one of the individuals who was caught on tape has been charged. The individual has been identified as 39 year old Ked Jean, a resident of Marc Bexon.

He was charged for Robbery on Tuesday and is expected to appear in court today to for a bail hearing. However sources indicate that an application is likely to be made for remand in the case.

The other man allegedly involved in the robbery continues to elude police.
