The winners of the Annual National Schools Science Fair have been selected but students will have to wait a while longer before the big reveal!

That’s according to Curriculum officer Natural Sciences at Camdu in the Ministry of Education Gianetti George, who has been coordinating the activity at the Derek Walcott Square for the past three days.

A total of forty projects from several schools in the eight education districts qualified for the fair, but only one in each category will be declared the winner when the announcement is made later today.

Prizes for this year’s science fair will be distributed at 2pm following Thursday’s judging process.

The theme for this year’s fair is “Science and technology, the catalyst for a sustainable future”.
