A well known artist with close ties to England has commented on the Manchester suicide bombing, describing the incident as tragic but not surprising.

The Islamic State terror group has claimed responsibility for the Manchester suicide bombing that killed 22 people - including an eight-year-old girl - in an explosion that tore through fans leaving an Ariana Grande pop concert in Manchester.

Rob Zi Taylor who migrated to St Lucia in 1986 with his family at the age of 11 says the identity of the youngest victim in the killing at a mass crowd event is very upsetting.

Taylor however does not believe that political developments regarding BREXIT are responsible for fuelling such attacks.

He asserts that the spirit of hatred and racism particularly toward the west was already engrained in the British society long before the Brexit move.

As the first arrest was made in connection with the attack, British Prime Minister Theresa May disclosed that the authorities believe they know the identity of the man who carried out the atrocity.
