The Take Over Village is set to open the calypso season on Wednesday with what organizers boast will be a star studded line up.

According to Tent Manager Cecil Charles disclosed that patrons can look forward to quality performances and several surprises.

He notes that upgrades have been made to the format of the tent shows that will give patrons more bang for their buck.

Charles notes that the tent has sought the expertise of administrative professionals who are able to provide technical and other forms of support to artistes. This, he says, has enabled them to focus their energies on their music.

Charles says the opening will be a bitter sweet moment as it moves ahead without one of its founding members, “Get Through”.
