Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 27 year old Corinth resident. According to the Police Press Relations Officer Gregory Alexander, the death of Shem Cherry also known as snake oil is being treated as a homicide.

Meanwhile police investigations have also opened into the circumstances surrounding a fatal accident which occurred on Wednesday June 7th along the Castries/Gros Islet highway.

Official reports indicate that 74 year old pedestrian Joseph Altedor was struck down by motorcyclist Lance Alfred who was arrested and charged for fleeing the scene of an accident. Altedor who was transported to hospital succumbed to his injuries.

And police are also probing the circumstances surrounding what was thought to be a fatal hit and run incident following the discovery of a body in a ditch. The individual has been identified as 37 year old Wendy Sylvester of Bexon.

Police say so far no foul play is suspected.
