The Annual School Party competition organized by Radio Caribbean International and the Pine Hill Brand at Peter and Company Ltd moves to the south of the island this year.

The contest which saw over 50 essay entries from primary school students around the island yielded three top submissions.

Rocque Charles of the Augier Combined School is this year’s first place winner.

Chief judge Natalie Jolie Fanis explains the selection process.

Ms Fanis says Rocque Charles edged out about six other students who had written exceptional essays.

Kyra St Louiswho is also from the Augier Combined School came in second place and Sharisa St Brice came in 3rd place.

The winner of the School Party competition will receive a laptop computer for himself and a desktop computer for his school. Team RCI and the Pine Hill brand will also treat the students with a spectualar school party
