The Soleil Suite of festivals along with a full calendar was unveiled when Events Company of St Lucia launched its 2018 program.

Industry partners gathered for the unveiling at the Sandals Grande to get the core line up for the Food and Rum Festival scheduled for January 12th to 14th, Saint Lucia Jazz from May 6th – 13th, Saint Lucia Carnival from June to July 2018 followed by Roots & Soul, August 31st to September 2nd. The festival will culminate with Arts & Heritage Month in October.

According to Marketing and Sponsorship officer Leila Williams, already the line-up has been confirmed for one of the leading events, Saint Lucia Jazz. She also explained the reason for such an early launch of the festivals.

Williams also spoke about how Events Company officers worked on the festivals simultaneously to put the calendar together.

Meanwhile the launch of the festivals was also hosted on Wednesday in Atlanta, Georgia, by a team from Saint Lucia including Chief Executive of ECSL Thomas Leonce, Minister responsible for Tourism and Broadcasting, Dominic Fedee, and Agnes Francis, Chairperson for the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority. The audience comprised Travel Agents, Tourism Officials and other strategic partners in the United States of America.

The Saint Lucian contingent continues on their way to New York and will, over the next few weeks, visit the United Kingdom and Canada where they will launch this international Soleil Saint Lucia Summer Festival 2018 - Promotional Campaign.
