The Sir Arthur Lewis Community College will once again host a series of activities in observance of Nobel Laureate Week. The 2014 Programme begins with a special student assembly on Monday January 20th from 10am.  

At that assembly the College Community will pay tribute to St Lucia’s Nobel Laureates with performances in song, dance and literary presentations. Wednesday January 22 will feature the works of budding and accomplished Poets at the “Poetry Exposé” from 10am.  

Throughout Thursday, January 23rd, St Lucian artistes will be featured in hourly presentations of their works.  In addition, there will be interactive sessions with the artistes in the College Gymnasium.  This activity begins at 9am.
A large number of staff and students are expected to attend the Sir Arthur Lewis Memorial lecture on Thursday evening at the National Cultural Centre while Friday’s Wreath Laying Ceremony at the College takes place from 10am. The much acclaimed “Evening of the Arts”, a College production highlighting all forms of artistic talent, is scheduled for January 29.

Our final event for these celebrations will be a panel discussion amongst outstanding college students who will discuss their success stories as well as important National issues.  The panel discussion will be aired on NTN on January 30.
