The United Workers Party is wasting no time in getting an official replacement for the leader of the Opposition. That's according to Party Chairman Ezekiel Joseph who informed that the recommendation to remove Stephenson King as Opposition leader has already been sent to the Governor General.

Mr King had indicated prior to a press conference called on Tuesday that he had no intention of resigning as opposition leader and that any such claim made by the party’s chairman was grossly misleading and inaccurate.

But Mr Joseph notes that following due process to verify the authenticity of the Party’s letter of recommendation by the Governor General, Mr King will now be left with no choice than to vacate the post.
