The Small Enterprise Development Unit (SEDU) of the Ministry of Commerce, Business Development, Investment and Consumer Affairs in collaboration with BELfund Saint Lucia will be hosting a Community Outreach Programme in the town of Soufriere next week.

The event forms part of SEDU’s Entrepreneurial Development Programme, the key objective of which is the promotion of an entrepreneurial culture and the development of best practices amongst potential and existing micro and small business owners.

At this Community Outreach Programme we intend to address The Services of SEDU, Entrepreneurship & Starting a Business, BELfund's Services, Registration of Businesses and Jazz Festival Sensitization

This is one in a series of SEDU outreach programmes in various communities around Saint Lucia. We therefore encourage all persons who either own businesses or intend to start a business to attend this activity. This is expected to be a very informative session where persons would receive the information necessary to start up their businesses or improve on their existing businesses.

The session takes place on Wednesday, February 12th 2014 from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Soufriere Community Access Centre
