St. Lucians can look forward to sweet pan music this weekend, as six Pan-sides battle each other in the Junior Panorama competition scheduled to take place at the National Cultural Centre Grounds.

The show down takes place as the National Artreach Program kicks off with several exhibitions by local artists on display.

Public Relations Officer at the Cultural Development Foundation Jimmy Clavier explains that the competition has been included as part of the national Arts festival this year

The public has been invited to follow this Sunday’s event with a visit to the Visual Arts Exhibition at the Top Floor, Blue Coral Mall from Monday 31st March to Saturday 5th April.

Clavier adds that a week of Performing Arts starts from Monday April 7th with a selection of local films, theatre productions and Performance Poetry

The Weekend brings the Festival Week to a climax with Junior Dance showcase and a number of other activities
