Five employees from the St Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) Generation Department, recently made a charitable donation to the St Benedict Centre at Morne Fortune.

The five employees gave of their time to bring a needed face lift to the Centre. The clean-up and beautification exercise was held over a two day period. The project included a pressure washing and paint job on the entire premises.
This is not the first time the Benedict Centre is benefitting from LUCELEC support. Through the LUCELEC Trust, the company donates $6,000 annually to the Centre’s feeding programme. In fact, during their voluntary works, the LUCELEC employees also stocked the purchased dry goods for the feeding programme.
Two of the employees involved in the exercise were recognized at the 2013 LUCELEC Annual Staff Recognition Ceremony for charitable works at the Lady Gordon Opportunity Centre.
