St Lucia’s Foreign Affairs Minister and other official overseas representatives at the various missions have been called on to join the rest of the world in sending a strong statement against the kidnapping of over 200 Nigerian girls last week

The call comes from United Youth, which has joined Nigerians and the rest of the world in denouncing the criminal and cowardly act of the Boko Harem Islamist Extremist group which has claimed responsibility for the kidnapping.To date over 276 girls are still being held captive.

The UWP Youth arm says this is a crime not only against the girls being held captive but against young people worldwide. United Youth has also appealed to all St. Lucians, to hold hands with the rest of the world, to pray and rally for the safe return of all the girls.
