The Saint Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority (SLASPA) is meeting with Cruise Industry stakeholders, today to continue discussions with reference to the allocation of berths for the Carnival Valor.

Stakeholders expected to attend today’s meeting include  the Ministry of Tourism, Invest St. Lucia, Cox and Company agents for Carnival Cruise Lines, Courtesy Taxi, Holiday Taxi, Castries City Council and the Vendors and Dry Goods Association.

With service delivery being a high priority for SLASPA, the meeting has been called to discuss specific concerns raised by stakeholders as it relates to Carnival Valor and to clarify the circumstances surrounding the adjustments to the cruise schedule for 2013/14.  Further details will be released, subsequent to the meeting.  

SLASPA says it remains committed to consultation and information sharing with local and international industry partners of all the sectors which the organization plays a vital role in, which includes the cruise industry.
