The Saint Lucia Tourist Board is about to launch another campaign geared directly towards Caribbean travelers.

Building on the success over the years of the Staycation programme that has allowed Saint Lucian nationals to enjoy world renowned on-island hotels and resorts at exceptionally discounted prices, the new regional campaign will extend to include Caribbean consumers.

Dubbed ‘Caribcation,’ the region-wide initiative was launched on August 4th, with an objective to provide added incentives to Caribbean consumers who will be able to choose Saint Lucia as their preferred getaway spot for the summer months of August and September.

Public Relations Manager at the St Lucia Tourist Board John Emmanuel says the campaign which is geared predominantly for Caribbean nationals, ‘Caribcation’ will allow regional visitors to sample the warmth and internationally recognized ‘excellence of service’ delivered by award-winning resorts across Saint Lucia, at the best prices compared to any other time in the year.

Caribbean nationals can take time to pamper themselves, as many of the hotels offer spa facilities on property and can also dine at award winning restaurants. Notable specials include hotel stays starting from as low as US $40 per night per room.
