Ms Shaka Esnard who spoke to our newsdesk today recounted the ordeal which her brother Daniel Esnard went through after receiving what she described as shoddy medical treatment for a stab wound by personnel at the Soufriere Hospital.

She says after being stitched up for what caregivers originally described as a non fatal wound, Daniel Esnard died days afterward following major surgery resulting from a punctured lung, and other internal injuries.

Ms Esnard recounted the incident which took place on January 26th

Now,  Ms Esnard says the past six months have been especially hard on the family.
