As investigations into the island’s latest homicide open here, police are seeking public assistance in finding the perpetrators responsible for the fatal stabbing of a Ciceron man.

Official reports indicate that about 2:40 a.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2014, medical personnel at Victoria Hospital summoned police officers from the Criminal Investigations Department to its Accident and Emergency room. On arrival, the officers were informed that Cedolf Hunte was transported to the hospital with what appeared to be stab wounds to the body. He was pronounced dead on arrival.

It is alleged that 34-year-old Cedolf Hunte was attacked by four armed masked men at Ciceron.

No one has been arrested in relation to this incident.
